I know that the term dames is derived from Madame, but broads? I'm assuming it has something to do with boobies.

mike..in reference to your blog: broad comes from the word broad being slang for a ticket. thus a prostitute was a meal ticket for a pimp and broad meant a woman of loose morals. so much for the boob theory...although i thought women were famous for broad hips?
what about gold ones and white ones? what about the day and the night?
